Hello caring cat owners, my name is Laurie Carl.

I have recently moved back to Oregon after being away for 15 years. My most recent job was doing pet sitting in the Chicago northern suburban area for the past 9 years. My background also includes working as a nurse in both a hospital and clinic setting. I also have a BS degree in psychology.

I have owned and loved many kitties over the years! They have come in all varieties and some with special medical needs. I currently have 2 diabetic cats that receive insulin twice a day and are in great shape. Here is a picture of Peanut Butter---one of my diabetic cats.

I have had many rescue animal volunteer experiences. A few have been serving on the board of directors of the Alaska Humane Society, volunteering at privately run shelters in different capacities, and most recently, participated in a cat adoption program at the Petsmart in Vernon Hills, IL.

I feel extremely fortunate to now be able to have my own cat pet sitting business and do what I love each day.
